On Friday 4 March 2016, a group of 11 students (10 Japanese and 1 Korean) from Auckland Institute of Studies and myself left AIS at 2.15pm and headed for Muriwai Beach. It was a sunny afternoon with patches of cloud and the temperature was about 24 degrees. At the beach, there was a gentle sea breeze, so conditions were excellent. Lantern Festival 2016
On Thursday 18 February 2016, I went to the Lantern Festival which celebrates the Chinese New Year and it was held in the Auckland Domain. Bethells Beach
On Thursday 4 February 2016, a group of AIS students (3 from Thailand, 1 from France, 1 from Colombia, 3 from Japan, 1 from Korea, 2 from China and 1 from Taiwan) and I left AIS at 2.30pm and went to Bethells Beach in west Auckland.
