Bethells Beach

Friday 16 March 2018 turned out to be an ideal day to visit Bethells Beach which is also known as Te Henga.

A group of 11 students plus myself left Auckland Institute of Studies at 3.30pm on Friday 16 March. The morning had been rainy and there was a lot of cloud cover when we left but it was a warm day in the 22 to 24 degree range. Piha and Karekare

On Saturday 18 November, a group of 7 plus myself went to Piha Beach, Karekare Falls and Karekare Beach. The day was relatively warm, about 22 degrees, but it was mostly cloudy and we had a few spots of rain late afternoon but that didn’t stop us from having a thoroughly enjoyable time. Skydiving

This was a fun day with Skydive Auckland. Skydive Auckland is based at Parakai, so there are marvellous vistas while skydiving. There are Muriwai Beach, Woodhill Forest and Kaipara Harbour on Auckland’s west coast, as well as the river which snakes through Helensville, expansive farm land, and the landmarks of Auckland city in the distance.
